Colin West is an award-winning writer and director from Columbus, Ohio who lives and works in LA (mostly) and NYC (sometimes).
His most recent feature film, the fantasy dramedy OUTSIDE OF CLEVELAND, starring Alex Wolff, Jim Gaffigan, Brooklynn Prince, and Sarah Wayne Callies, just wrapped production in 2026. His previous film, LINOLEUM (2023), a sci-fi comedy-drama starring Jim Gaffigan, Rhea Seehorn, Katelyn Nacon, Amy Hargreaves, Michael Ian Black, and Tony Shalhoub, premiered at SXSW Film Festival, was aquired by Shout Studios, and won Best Narrative Feature Film at the Sun Valley Film Festival. His film DOUBLE WALKER, co-written by and starring Sylvie Mix, was released in 2021. His films have screened internationally at festivals including SXSW, BFI London Film Festival, Fantasia, Seattle, and Palm Springs, among others.
He was awarded the Alfred P. Sloan Science in Cinema Prize in 2022, a New York Times Critic's Pick in 2023, and was an Annenberg Foundation MFA Fellow at USC's School of Cinematic Arts.
