Colin West is an award-winning writer and director who grew up in a cul-de-sac in Columbus, Ohio. He now lives and works in LA (mostly) and NYC (sometimes).

His feature film credits include LINOLEUM (2023) starring Jim Gaffigan, Rhea Seehorn, Katelyn Nacon, Amy Hargreaves, Michael Ian Black, and Tony Shalhoub, which had its world premiere at SXSW Film Festival, and DOUBLE WALKER, co-written by and starring Sylvie Mix, which was released in 2021. His films have screened internationally at festivals including BFI London Film Festival, Fantasia, Seattle International Film Festival, and Palm Springs International Film Festival, among others.

He was awarded the Alfred P. Sloan Science in Cinema Prize in 2022, a New York Times Critic’s Pick in 2023, and was an Annenberg Foundation MFA Fellow at USC’s School of Cinematic Arts.
